a test of my love
Ryan is a relatively cautious and frugal person, so car shopping with him has indeed been an adventure. A couple of weeks ago, we spent a 90 degree/2 zillion percent humidity day in a car with no air conditioning searching for The Perfect Car. Internet ads were searched, sales people were pushy, and test drives were completed. No purchases were made. Needless to say, this was a Test Of My Love For My Husband. Luckily, I happen to love him very much.
As a second Test Of My Love For My Husband, I agreed to go car shopping yet again on Saturday. After finding our way around the flooded region, we ended up at a dealership that sells fancy-schmancy stuff like Audis and Infinities. However, we were looking for something a little less…oh, outrageously priced. So Ryan found a car that very nearly met the specifications of The Perfect Car, the exception being price. It’s a lovely maroon Bonneville that is a year newer than mine.

It’s pretty and shiny and even has remote start (jealous!).
After talking them down $1200 from their asking price, we drove off in our fraternal twin cars to have a yummy dinner at Chilis. The fajitas merely sweetened the fact that there is no more car shopping in our near future!

They look like they are in love!
And what is his/her name? Congrats! We paid off my car with our tax return, so now we’re deciding if we should keep it or trade it in for something bigger. We are already out of room, and we are still adding another monkey!
Hee hee, Llama Momma. You’re so right!
Congratulations!

Good call, Colsy. Done!
oh isn’t that precious.
