just call me McGruff
Ryan and I were up late last night playing neighborhood watch.
We’re 99% sure that there was someone at the farm supply company across the highway from us doing things they weren’t supposed to be doing. Like stealing anhydrous ammonia, which for those of you not familiar with meth cooking is a precursor to the manufacture of methamphetamine. (Not that I’m intimately familiar with it myself, but I know that anhydrous is a key ingredient.) We heard a loud, squeaking vehicle stop nearby and then silence. Then we heard a couple of muffled sounds of car doors closing. Unfortunately, people steal gasoline and other chemicals from the company every once in awhile. We’re pretty tired of it happening, so we took action.
We called the County Sheriff who came and checked things out. As he was circling the equipment in his car, another vehicle took off very quickly from nearby with the same tell-tale squeaking noise as it drove. The cop left, chasing that vehicle. We don’t know what the outcome of the chase was, but all of this happened in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere with nothing around except a farm supply company. You do the meth math.

hmmm…what were you doing up in the middle of the night??
Dirty mind. The squealing vehicle woke us up because we were sleeping with the window open.
Not that you’re intimately familiar with it. Naw, you’re just pals.
Nicki:
Well…
Well…there are only 3 reasons why I’m up in the middle of the night! Jaelynn, potty break and other!
LOL Good point! Still, sleeping with an open window was the culprit.
