I always thought the secret ingredient was love…

12 November, 2007

Ryan was apparently feeling very chef-like this weekend. I’m not complaining one bit, though! Yesterday for lunch, we had homemade french onion soup. Yum! For supper, he made steak, potatoes, and tried a new recipe for creamy mushroom sauce. It would have been great had we had sour cream or PLAIN yogurt on hand. You know, vanilla yogurt packs a lot of punch, even in a sauce… Hee hee. We drained most of the sauce away, and ate the mushrooms pretty much by themselves.

He also made me a smoothie yesterday so we could finish up some of the fruit we had in the fridge. It was strawberry banana, and quite delicious. That may be because of his self-proclaimed secret ingredient, though…

Vodka.*

*No, he didn’t really add vodka. I don’t think so anyway…

Vodka and love are definitely the essential ingredients to any smoothies, IMO. 😉

Amber: Well, talk to me on a day that I’m willing to get rid of him. That’s not today. Tomorrow doesn’t look good either. 😉

    Norma: Of course!
