murphy’s law: more reliable than the laws of gravity

It is six days before my trip to California, and I had a flat tire this morning. I don’t know yet if it’s a $15 repair or if I need a new tire. I have my fingers crossed for the repair, but I’m sure not holding my breath.

Jansen: Fortunately I was able to get away with one $35 used tire for the time being. I’m glad it didn’t cost me as much as you!
