contracts coma

7 May, 2009

Four hours is a long, long time to think about contracts and to write about contracts and to make sure you didn’t miss anything about ridiculous stuff like anticipatory repudiation, parol evidence, and substantial performance. Between a bad night’s sleep, allergies (and therefore allergy medication), and finals-brain-mush, I walked out of the exam feeling like I was in a walking coma.

However, it’s done! No more contracts. I’m really going to miss my professor – all year long he was who we started our day with, and it was lovely. Plus, it’s not every day you find a professor who makes jokes like:

“Frustration of purpose? Sounds like some of my dates in college.”

And? He sang us a song to the tune of King Edward VII’s Coronation Ode – complete with his own lyrics! Seriously.

Ugh. I have contracts tomorrow…only it’s for 6 hours. Congrats on being done!

Thanks, and good luck! Six hours is sheer madness!
